LUNCH CLUB MENU – 15 February 2020
Polpette di kale (V)
Little balls of oven-baked goodness made with kale, parmesan cheese (24-months aged) and Italian seasoning. Served on a bed of leaves.
Duo bignè salati
I enjoy this dish in my local bar in Rome, usually with a small beer before dinner.
Light pastry balls with a home-made pate filling – one with ham and the other with tuna.
A delicious warm-up!
Definitely a cold-weather favourite for our regulars. A rich and hearty soupy pasta made with Italian borlotti beans and a few Lupo touches! Served with parmesan cheese, EVO and home-made crackers on the side
Lasagna di Salsiccia e funghi
Durum-wheat pasta sheets layered with Italian sausages, chestnut mushrooms, béchamel, parmesan cheese (24-months aged) and home-grown parsley. Served with leaves.
A light chocolate cake layered with apricot preserve. (I chose this as my birthday cake because I love it so much.)
