LUPO LUNCH CLUB - SETTEMBRE 2018

August 15, 2018

LUPO LUNCH CLUB - Saturday September 22nd 2018

New date, new autumnal menu.

Join us for an honest 3-course Italian lunch on Saturday 22nd September.

One of the starters will be made from a selection of vegetables hand-picked from our allotment. You will also find truffle burrata, gorgonzola, walnuts and radicchio - all the early autumn flavours for the weekend of harvest moon :  )

"Had a wonderful time today, excellent food, can’t wait for the next time 👍" - Mo H, Facebook, 11th August 2018.

Settembre Menu

1.

Truffle Burrata (V)– fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream with truffle. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside (another level compared to Buffalo Mozzarella). Served with leaves.

OR

Trio di Bruschetta (V)– three pieces of lightly toasted sourdough bread rubbed with garlic then topped with three different seasonal vegetable toppings (for example, cannellini bean and cavolo nero – we will see which veggies and herbs are looking supreme the day before).

2.

Cannelloni a la Ragu

The ‘Chapel Street’ favourite is back - pasta tubes filled with organic beef (Lancashire) ragu, home-made Italian vine cherry-vine tomato sauce, bechamel, parmesan cheese (24-months aged). Served with leaves.

OR

Lasagna a la Trevisana (V)

An early autumn classic - durum wheat lasagne sheets layered with gorgonzola, walnuts, radicchio béchamel, parmesan cheese (24-months aged). Served with leaves.

3.

Millefoglie – a ‘thousand layers’ of homemade puff pastry with whipped Lancashire cream (the feedback for this desert has been incredible to date).

£18 for all three courses (choose courses 1 and 2 when you book).

Accompanying wine and drinks are available on the day.
